Main features
The Genus® Total Knee offers both fixed-bearing and mobile-bearing techniques.
The femoral and tibial components are manufactured using powder technology, which enables the precise production of complex implants. Cementless implants feature the Ti-Por® surface to promote bone ingrowth and osseointegration.
FIXED-BEARING
- Femoral Component – Cobalt-chrome, available in 7 sizes (left and right).
- Tibial Component- Universal Titanium alloy, available in 7 sizes.
- Fixed Articular Insert – Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, available in 5 thicknesses, both in the standard (CR) and in the lateral sliding (CR-LS) versions.
- Both resurfacing and inset patellar components are available.
MOBILE-BEARING
- Femoral Component – Cobalt-chrome alloy, available in 7 sizes (left and right).
- Tibial Component – Cobalt-chrome alloy, available in 7 sizes.
- Mobile Insert – in ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, available in 5 different thicknesses in the standard, ultra-congruent HPS, and Lateral Sliding versions.
- Both resurfacing or inset patellar components are available.
Cemented and Cementless Options
Genus® offers cemented, cementless, and hybrid options, giving you the freedom to choose the system that is right for you and your patient.
The cementless components feature a three-dimensional, Ti-Por® surface, which encourages bone-ingrowth and promotes primary fixation.
